Frank Allport was a shy guy, never got in to much trouble but loved to have a good time with his friends. He was voted in high school as the strongest kid in our school, only to be beat out by Laddie Pasterski by a few votes. He graduated from H.S. and shortly after that went into the U.S.A.F. where he set the coarse record at Rantoul A.F.B. Il. for fighter jet rescue. He was stationed at Hickam A.F.B. in Hawaii for some time and then deployed to Nam, where he worked rescue for the incoming injured to the ship. He said "It was a real mess". He later moved to Clearwater Fl. where he was once again was saving lifes as a life guard on Clearwater Beach. After a few years in Fl. he then moved to Denver Co. where he helped take care of his Mother and was forman at a steel fabrication plant. When the economy of Co. had a down fall in 1985 he moved back to Fl. and continued to care for his Mother until his death. Frank was not only a good friend but a life long friend and a good person.

After spending most of my youth with Frank, from our childhood, school days to our years as lifeguards on Clearwater Beach Florida to building all the highrises on Clw. beach during the winters.  And our years in Colorado fishing or big game hunting (archery for elk) or going to a bar for a few beers after work. He will forever be remembered in some of my most cherished times of my life as my best friend. Aloha Frank
