William F. Kluge, (Bill) 71 years of age, at peace January 27, 2024. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee: Sorce) of 45 years. Loving father of Kevin (Lisa) Kluge and Katie (Luke) Munro. Cherished grandfather of William Kluge, Rose Kluge, Millie Munro and Macy Munro. Fond brother of Robert (Jean) Kluge, Kim (Matt) Dwyer, Kathy (Larry) Kowalkowski and Brian (Liz) Kluge. Dearly loved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Treasured friend to many.

William was preceded in death by his parents William and Pauline (nee: Green) Kluge.

William was a former resident of Downers Grove for 41 years. Together with two business partners, he was co-owner of Phoenix Rope and Cordage Co. in Joliet IL for 38 successful years. He was an avid White Sox fan and enjoyed golf, fishing, playing poker and cheering on the Chicago Bears and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Visitation Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook, IL 60527.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
